MAYORGA, LEYTE- The Mayorga Municipal Police Station together with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) successfully arrested a high-value target drug personality in this municipality.
The arrested personality was identified as Jason Pilapil, an employee of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO).
Pilapil was arrested through a buy-bust operation conducted last March 13, 2023, around 8:50 in the evening in Barangay Zone 1, Mayorga, Leyte.
Seized from the suspect were several pieces of plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 5 grams with an estimated street value of Php 34,000.00.
The suspect will be facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2022 and detained temporarily at Mayorga MPS Lock-Up Facility.
