TACLOBAN CITY- Tacloban City Police Station- Station 2 Drug Enforcement Unit led by Police Captain Rey Baldicano Jr. seized around P816,000.00 worth of suspected shabu and arrested two suspects in a buy-bust operation conducted yesterday around 9:50 in the evening at Barangay 91 Abucay of this city.
Based on data sent by TCPO-SDEU2, the suspects were identified as Ronald Caboboy Balibalita alias “Pokak”, 39 years old, a pizza delivery rider, and a resident of Barangay 106 Sto Niño, Tacloban City; and Ramil Tingzon Albento, 47 years old, jobless and a resident also of the same barangay
Revocered from Balibalit were ten (10) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance of suspected shabu which is the subject of possession; one (1) piece black sling bag; one (1) piece blue pouch; one (1) unit motorstar single motorcycle; one (1) motorcycle key; one (1) piece orange and black helmet; one (1) piece subscribed five hundred peso bill (Php500.00) with serial no. RZ842086, together with nineteen (19) pieces of one thousand (Php 1,000.00) peso bill and one (1) piece five hundred peso bogus money used as buy-bust money. While in the possession of Albento, the authorities sized three (3) pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu which is also a subject of possession.
The search, markings, and inventory of the subject of sale and recovered pieces of evidence were done at the place of arrest and in the presence of the witnesses.
Suspects are now in the custody of TCPO-Station 2 wherein criminal complaint for violation of Section 5 and 11 under Article 2 of Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are being prepared against the suspects and for referral before the office of the City Prosecutor.
